Although we have no conformation of the authenticity of the model and the picture, we were sure surprised by the changes in the leaked wear test sample of the Kobe 9. Most of the time the sample of a sneaker is some what different to the finished product but this gives the community a good idea of what is to come.
The Kobe 9 shows some obvious changes, especially that it has gone from being a low cut to a mid cut. Some changes that can not be seen is that the Kobe 9 sample displays engineered mesh, dynamic flywire and carbon fiber plating on the midsole and the heel. Nike had coined this sample as a low but obviously it seems to be a mid cut sneaker, seeing how it is the highest cut since the Nike Zoom Kobe III.
The mid cut design may have to do with giving Kobe Bryant better ankle support in the up coming NBA season, especially after his ankle injury. Whoever leaked this sample photo of the Kobe 9 is probably in a load of legal trouble with Nike. We salute him/her for committing policy violations just to show us a sample of the Kobe 9.
Do you guys think it's a fake photo? Do you guys like the design of the sample? What changes would you like to see in the Kobe 9? Leave your comments and concerns down below to let us know!
